Awards
The following awards are available on an annual basis for ENAO members.
Carole MacDonald Award
This award was established in the name of Carole MacDonald who, in 1971, led the Organization of what has today become the Emergency Nurses Association of Ontario (ENAO).
ENAO awards up to four ENAO members $500.00 towards continuing education in emergency nursing. Applicants must be a member for one year and may receive one award every three years.
Diane Dixon Degree Award
This award was established in 1999 to promote and reward an ENAO member working towards further education at the degree level.
ENAO awards two applicants $1000.00 to promote and reward ENAO members working towards furthering education at the degree level. Funds are to be applied to University courses leading to a Baccalaureate Degree or advanced degree in the field of Nursing.
Applicants must be a member for two consecutive years. Members can receive a maximum of one award every three years.
